ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- International Business Machines, Armonk, N.Y., has been assigned a patent (8,652,898) developed by four co-inventors for an "integrated circuit with a thin body field effect transistor and capacitor." The co-inventors are Kangguo Cheng, Schenectady, N.Y., Bruce Doris, Brewster, N.Y., Ali Khakifirooz, Mountain View, Calif., and Ghavam G. Shahidi, Pound Ridge, N.Y.
