With Mad Fat, it's not so much catch up as pre-empt, with the series running an episode ahead on 4oD. * Nashville 4oD The first half of ABC's unashamedly soapy drama's second season addressed many concerns held about the first, with supporting players fleshed out and annoying plot threads put to bed. Ostensibly the tale of two female country music stars, it's still a show largely concerned with exploring all possible conjugal permutations of its gaggle of attractive characters, and that's why it remains so popular - it's like Melrose Place in a stetson.
