Symphony Teleca Announces Major Release of Symphony Marimba Client Automation Solution
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Symphony
Teleca Corporation (STC), a global innovation and development
services company, today announced the release of Symphony Marimba
Client Automation (Symphony Marimba) v8.3, the first major release
of the Marimba product suite under the Symphony Teleca (News - Alert) brand. Since
early 2013, STC has been providing full development and support
activities for the Marimba products and the new version of Symphony
Marimba is the most significant update to the product in seven years.
Enterprise customers around the world today rely on Marimba Client
Automation technology as a critical solution to automate the entire
lifecycle of desktops, laptops and client devices. Symphony Marimba v8.3
offers more than 20 new features and empowers IT admins with highly
flexible and simplified automation tools to manage heterogeneous
environments. The new release also allows Marimba to be offered as a
platform, Marimba-as-a-Platform, to help administrators customize,
extend and integrate any product with Marimba. Features that have long
been regarded as the strengths of the product line, such as stability,
consistency, availability and scalability, have also been accentuated
and enhanced.
STC's Product Line Management (PLM) Group currently develops, tests and
supports the newly branded Marimba product, utilizing a talented team
that has been developing the product for several years before being
transitioned to the company. The PLM Group also provides maintenance
contracting for Symphony Marimba and will make support agreements
available for existing deployments of Marimba Client Automation beyond
any previously anounced obsolete date. This commitment will ensure the
company's customers' investments are protected and will also allow them
to remain on a proven solution path indefinitely.
