CloudByte Chief Executive Officer to Participate in Cloud Expo Europe Panel Discussions on Software-Defined Infrastructures

CUPERTINO, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

CloudByte, the first company to provide dynamically selectable storage performance on industry-standard hardware, announced today that Greg Goelz, the company chief executive officer, will be speaking on a technical panel in the Cloud Service Providers track at Cloud Expo Europe in London, United Kingdom. The "Software Defined Everything" panel, taking place on February 27 at 1:50 p.m. local time, will discuss the benefits and probable outcomes for service providers that adopt software defined infrastructures.

"This is certainly an appropriate topic for us here at CloudByte and I am glad to be part of this panel at a conference focused on the cloud market," said Greg Goelz, CEO of CloudByte. "Our target market is the clod service provider market and we have ongoing discussions with our current and potential customers about the best ways to build software-defined infrastructures that will help them compete with industry leaders such as Amazon. It is very competitive out there and the right storage solution can make a huge difference."

Last month, CloudByte announced that the company was a winner of the 2013-2014 Cloud Awards Program in the Best Cloud Infrastructure category.
