BRIEF: Chickasha chamber names new board president [The Express-Star, Chickasha, Okla. :: ](Express-Star, The (Chickasha, OK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Feb. 16--CHICKASHA -- The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce announced their next president this week. "The Board of Directors of the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce are (sic) pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Rathe as our new President of the Board," a press release stated. "Mr. Rathe brings to the Chamber 25 years of leadership experience that includes president/director-level positions and budget responsibilities." Rathe comes from Athens, Texas where he worked as the local chamber of commerce president. The release states Rathe spent 10 years with the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce in Northeastern Oklahoma. Rathe received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas and completed the Advanced Chamber of Commerce Studies Program from the University of Oklahoma. Rathe is expected to begin his work as president in late March.
