BRIEF: Perficient acquires New York consulting firm for $46 million [St. Louis Post-Dispatch :: ]


(St. Louis Post-Dispatch (MO) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Feb. 11--Information technology consulting firm Perficient has acquired ForwardThink Group, expanding its presence in New York and in the financial services industry.

New York-based consulting firm ForwardThink Group has more than 100 employees and clients in the banking, wealth management, asset management, capital markets and insurance industries.

ForwardThinkGorup's $30 million in annual services revenue boosts Perficient's annual revenue to $430 million.

"With the addition of ForwardThink Group, Perficient has strengthened our ability to create even more powerful management and IT consulting solutions for our financial services customers," Perficient's president and CEO Jeffrey Davis said in a statement.



ForwardThink Group's CEO Robert Shinbrot is joining Town and Country-based Perficient in a key leadership role, Perficient said.

Perficient has made several acquisitions in the past year, including its purchase of CoreMatrix Systems LLC in October for $21.5 million, and TriTek Solutions Inc. last May for $18.5 million.
