Mformation Boosts Leadership Team [Professional Services Close - Up]

According to a release, the new appointments to the Mformation leadership team collectively contribute over 80 years of telecommunications experience in their respective areas to Mformation. They include: -Christine Bolles, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management -Richard Barton, Vice President of Operations -Luca Ferrari, Vice President of Sales, EMEA -Gabriel Camarena, Regional Vice President of Sales, LATAM "Mobile devices are predicted to outstrip the global population. In technology-driven parts of the world, users already average more than 3 mobile devices each and the demand for those devices to become increasingly more connected is evidenced by the exponential growth and expanding use cases for M2M. When you consider that growth along with increasing end-user requirements around usability, productivity, and convenience, it is clear that our customers face unique challenges and limitless opportunities," said David Shimoni, who was appointed as Mformation's President and General Manager, Carrier Division mid-last year. "This leadership team was specifically selected to help our customers capitalize on all of these new possibilities. We have a renewed focus on driving success for our customers around the globe and in reclaiming our leadership position as innovators in mobility management solutions." The company reported that Bolles joins Mformation with a long history of evolving the mobility marketplace. In her most recent role as a Principal for inCode, a division of Ericsson, she developed business solutions and advanced technology strategies for top-tier wireless providers with focus on connected devices and related services, consumer analytics and mobile commerce, application management, enterprise solutions, and network migration. Bolles has also served as the AVP of Marketing for the Americas region at Nokia, Enterprise Division and has held a variety of leadership roles at Cingular Wireless and SBC Communications.

Further, Barton is a leader in building strong customer relationships. Barton comes to Mformation from Comverse, where he held a variety of leadership positions in program management, client management, R&D and sales. He has a storied history of improving customer satisfaction and resolving problems for telecommunications companies.


Ferrari joins Mformation with both broad market leadership expertise and deep technical aptitude from Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) where he most recently served as the global head of device management, SIM sales, and customer solutions and previously served as General Manager, EMEA for SmartTrust (a G&D 2010 acquisition). Ferrari has also worked at companies such as Ericsson and FOREM in a variety of sales and engineering roles.

Camarena will join the growing team of Arie VanderStroom, VP of Sales, Americas to bring customer-focused solutions to Latin America. An executive-level sales and market development expert, Camarena's experience includes leadership positions in Latin America and Europe with telecommunication solution providers such as Mobixell Networks, Intucel, ByteMobile, Networks In Motion, Gilat Satellite Network Systems and Comverse, as well as with carriers such as Telefonica, France Telecom and Sprint.

The senior leadership team of Mformation also includes Kevin Wood, CEO and Rakesh Kushwaha, Founder and CTO. The sales leadership team also includes Sean Fleming, Vice President of Business Development.
