Tasting Event For Make-A-Wish Is Music To Our Ears

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

The event has attracted over sixty wineries, high-end spirits brands and craft beers, and is still almost forty days away. Tesla Motors will be featuring 3 of their cars at the event and giving test drives to guests. With more than 1,000 tickets already sold, the event promises to be the largest wine festival in all Ventura county.

In its latest development, the inaugural Simply Wine Festival benefiting Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties has recruited the captivating talent of The Westlake Village Symphony String Quartet. The Westlake Village Symphony (WVS) is one of four musical functions of the Pacific Pearl Music Association (PPMA), a culturally diverse association located in the Conejo Valley. Ticket holders can look forward to hearing a fun and eclectic mix of classical literature and popular tunes.

Martha Peretz, C.E.O. for event organizer, Simply Wine Festival, says, "Wine lovers should expect more than justtheir 'tasting' senses to be piqued. We will of course have some of the best wineries, spirits and craft beer brands present."

She adds, "Additionally, the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village is a feast for the eyes, and will be equally matched by the superb sound of the Westlake Symphony Quartet."

Peretz points to the Simply Wine Festival event as an experience, and not just a tasting. "We get to transport wine lovers for a few hours to a utopia of wonderful wine, spirits, food and music, all in a stunning setting. Serious tasting events have elevated to this level for such high-end consumers, and Simply Wine Festival has excelled in perfecting that experience - and to benefit an excellent cause, Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties."

ABOUT MAKE-A-WISH TRI-COUNTIES

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. According to a 2011 U.S. study of "wish impact," most health professionals agree that "a wish come-true" can have a positive impact on the health of a child. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illnesses, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family.

With a staff of only four, and the help of more than 100 volunteers, Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties has granted over 1,200 special wishes to children in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. If you want to refer a child to Make-A-Wish, call 1-888-899-9474 [WISH].
