Centrify Achieves Another Year of Record Sales and Accelerated Expansion in Europe; Company Adds Significantly to Its Market-Share Leading Customer Installed Base


(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LONDON, UK -- Centrify Corporation, the leader in Unified Identity Services across data centre, cloud and mobile, today announced that the company posted record total sales in calendar year 2013 and more than 40 percent growth year over year with a strong performance by Europe. With this growth, Centrify continued to grow its customer installed base, the largest share in its segment within the security market, while maintaining in excess of 97 percent customer retention rate.



The company's employee base also grew by approximately 30 percent over 2012 with total headcount now more than 400 personnel. In Europe, Centrify's headcount also experienced significant growth, doubling in number across the region in 2013. This includes the appointment of Jean-Marc Valat as new Regional Sales Manager for Southern Europe and Dirk Wahlefeld as the new EMEA East Systems Engineer.

On Centrify's European growth figures, EMEA Director Darren Gross commented, "We've grown our European and UK headcount over the past quarter for two very important reasons. Firstly to make sure we're supporting our customers across EMEA with local language support, recruiting many new employees both in-region and at our EMEA HQ with multi-lingual capabilities. In addition to reaching significant records on sales, new customer and growth fronts, Centrify also achieved the following milestones during 2013: Introduced new solutions to address the changing economies of enterprise IT and shift to "the Internet of things." Solution introductions in 2013 included Centrify User Suite, SaaS Edition, the industry's first Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) solution to provide robust Active Directory and/or cloud-based Single Sign-on (SSO), access management, application management and mobile management across any cloud, mobile or on-premise application. Centrify also launched Centrify User Suite, Mac Edition, the industry's first solution to provide robust Active Directory-based authentication, policy management, SSO and user self-service for connected and remote Mac OS X systems. The company also introduced Centrify for Office 365, the industry's most comprehensive solution for Active Directory-based SSO, user provisioning and mobile management for Office 365.


On the mobile side, Centrify partnered with Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd., to provide key enabling technology for Samsung's KNOX mobile solution for the Android platform which delivers unparalleled Active Directory integration, mobile application Zero Sign-on, and KNOX container and device management capabilities, including for the latest Samsung KNOX-enabled GALAXY S4, Note 3 and Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) devices.

Centrify also launched Centrify Suite 2013, delivering new advanced privileged user management and auditing for Windows systems, as well as new "sudo" migration tools for Linux so organisations can quickly and effectively meet compliance requirements, mitigate risks from internal threats, and reduce operational costs across the broadest set of cross-platform systems deployed on-premise and in the cloud.

Achieved a 97 percent retention rate of customers over the past four years.

Established key industry partner integrations and platform support, including for Zoom, Alfresco, Marketo, Huddle, Dropbox for Business, Red Hat Storage, and NetSuite; and Day One support for the Apple iOS 7 operating system for iPhones and iPads, and the Apple OS X 10.9 Mavericks operating system for Macs.

In EMEA, the partner base expanded by a total of 46, representing a 139 percentage growth in new partners from the previous year. New EMEA partners, amongst others, include:Nebulas, Bechtle, Somerford & AT Computers in the UK; Science+Computing, Charismatics & SoftwareOne in DACH; Carmel & Harmonie Technologies in France; Atea & Cygate in the Nordics; DiGi in Italy; Dimension Data, Performanta, Puleng and ACS in Africa; Innovative Solutions, ISYX & Cell Information in the Middle East; and many other excellent EMEA VARs.

Earned important industry certifications, including Common Criteria Certification for the Centrify Server Suite, passing the service organisation control (SOC) examination of its internal controls without exception, and earning the TRUSTe Certified Privacy Seal signifying that its privacy statement and associated practices to protect customer data are compliant with the TRUSTe program requirements. Centrify also launched the Centrify Alliance Partner Program (CAPP), for developers, cloud and mobile ISVs to jointly develop integrated solutions leveraging Centrify's leading Unified Identity Services for secure access to cloud and mobile apps.
