Results of Newly-Released Physician Engagement Survey Reveals Driving Factors and Disconnects With Their Organizations: Details to Be Presented in Webinars for Healthcare Leaders

Physician Wellness Services (PWS) and Cejka Search will host complimentary webinars for healthcare leaders, "Building Engagement: Leveraging What Matters Most to Physicians," on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 12 p.m. CST and Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m. CST. The sessions will review and discuss the results and implications of the organizations' recent physician engagement survey. David Cornett, Cejka Search senior executive vice president, and Dr. Daniel J. Whitlock, MBA, PWS consulting physician, will lead the Jan. 30 session; Cornett and Dr. Robert Stark, PWS consulting physician, will lead the Feb. 25 session.

PWS and Cejka Search conducted the survey in September 2013 to help healthcare organizations gain a better understanding of and quantify what physician engagement really means to physicians, what they are looking for and actually experiencing, and where there are gaps. The results confirm that engagement is very important to physicians, it is a key driver of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their jobs and their organizations, and it clearly influences their decisions to accept or leave a job. The survey also reveals sizable gaps between what is important to physicians to feel engaged and what they perceive they are experiencing in their current practices.
