CardLinx CEO and Board Members to Present at Goldman Sachs Technology Conference

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--

The CardLinx Association, the association that facilitates the interoperability and growth of the card-linked offers industry, will share insights on this rapidly growing sector at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference, taking place February 11-13, 2014 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

Silvio Tavares, CardLinx President and founding CEO, along with the following CardLinx board members, will participate in a panel presentation titled "The Convergence (News - Alert) of Advertising and Payments." The presentation will take place on Wednesday, February 12th at 9:00 am. The panelists include:

  • Jason Blackhurst, SVP Payment Strategy at Bank of America
  • Tom Burgess, CEO of Linkable Networks
  • Patrick Grady, CEO of Deem Inc.
  • Erik Jorgensen, General Manager Local Advertising at Microsoft (News - Alert)
  • Schwark Satyavolu, Global Head Rewards and Offers at MasterCard

Card-linked offers stand at the unique intersection of the payments, social media, advertising, and retail industries. As the "offers" space has become more popular, consumers have often found it cumbersome to take advantage of the variety and amount of offers available. Card-linked offers help solve that problem by givingmerchants and advertisers the ability to deliver an offer or deal to consumers via their credit, debit or other payment cards without having to use a paper coupon, voucher or promotion code.
