Search Industry Veteran Connie Lee Schiefer Joins Simply Hired as SVP Product Management

Simply Hired® today announced the appointment of Connie Lee Schiefer as Senior Vice President, Product Management. Schiefer, who previously held executive product roles at Intel (News - Alert) and Yahoo!, brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in product development, delivery and innovation. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving all product strategy for Simply Hired's job search engine and performance-based recruitment advertising platform.

Schiefer served in product leadership roles for more than eight years at Yahoo!, including VP of product management at Yahoo!'s (News - Alert) cloud platform group and VP of product for services that enabled paid-for products. As part of the company's product team that enabled for-paid product, she grew revenue from $100M to $500M. As VP of product for the company's cloud platform group, she drove product strategy for cloud-based services that powered Yahoo!'s global, consumer-facing applications, managing a team of 40 product managers, which supported 900+ engineers. Schiefer left Yahoo! in 2011 to join Intel's Retail Solutions Division where she managed strategy and delivery of cloud-based services, including the development of pricing and revenue models, positioning and go-to-market plans and services.

Earlier in her career, Schiefer served in product management roles at Arzoon, a privately-held company that developed internet technology to provide one-stop transportation management services, and the health website WebMD. She also held senior consulting roles at Accenture (News - Alert), Deloitte & Touche. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon.
