Vista Strengthens Its Yardi Voyager Affordable Housing platform [Health & Beauty Close - Up](Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Yardi said that housing management firm Vista Capital Management Group (Vista) recently expanded its Yardi Voyager Affordable Housing platform by adding Yardi Resident Screening, Yardi Orion Business Intelligence, and Yardi Document Management. In a release, the Company said that Vista's broadened use of the Yardi Voyager Affordable Housing suite of products comes as the firm reports growth from 2,000 to 5,000 units under management since the company began operating in 2007. "Yardi has been instrumental in our ability to grow from a startup company to being recognized in the 2012 NAHMA 100 Affordable Housing list," said Bern DuPree, vice president for Vista. "Our expertise with Yardi Voyager is a key part of our ability to provide institutional-grade property and asset management services to our clients." Approximately 90 percent of the units Vista manages are affordable housing projects developed by its clients. "The primary subsidy for most of the units we manage is Low Income Housing Tax Credits. We also have extensive knowledge of compliance requirements for programs such as HUD Section 202, PRAC, HOME, Section 236, and HAP contracts," said DuPree. "Our clients are extremely varied in terms of size, type, and funding sources. Yardi Voyager helps us address all of their needs."
