Canopy Co. to Launch New 'Variable Pressure' Smartphone Interface Technology at 2014 International CES

Canopy (www.canopyco.com) announced today a new iPhone (News - Alert)^® case featuring "variable pressure technology" that will revolutionize the way people interact with apps on smartphones. The new Sensus^TM App-Enhancing Case expands the user interface from the front screen to the sides and entire back of the iPhone. Canopy's team is demonstrating the product to the global technology community at International CES (News - Alert) here, January 7-10, 2014.

Pressure-Sensitive Sensor Technology

The new mobile device case, initially for the iPhone^® 5/5S, detects the level of pressure the user is applying with each touch and uses that data to identify user intent and significantly enhance the usability and interactivity of mobile apps.
