Soft-ex launches Optimiser Version 5.5; Offering unified visibility on mobile and fixed line costs and optimising telecoms infrastructure and performance

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Soft-ex has today announced the launch of its innovative Optimiser Version 5.5 solution. Optimiser allows enterprises to centrally manage and monitor their mobile and fixed line usage, leading to more control, efficiency and cost savings on their telecom bills. Optimiser Version 5.5 is now available as a hosted service or an on-site solution.

Optimiser works by delivering information direct to the user's desktop via a new dynamic dashboard which gives unified visibility of telecoms usage, costs, performance and infrastructure across the business. It can generate automated cost and usage reports, analysing, classifying and allocating costs down to a department or specific user level at the touch of a button. Optimiser now also offers mark-up and fixed costs reports in the new release. The voice security module, offers protection against fraud and hacking through near realtime security alerts on unusual activity on company assets such as ISDN Lines and international lines. Response time reports assist in measuring accessibility and call handling efficiencies within an organisation. Optimisation of trunk and extension utilisation, along with quality of service is also available in the latest release. Observations and trends are made easier by the new dashboard which gives an overview of all activity at a single glance.

Gartner estimates that the telecom expense management market was valued at EUR1.4 billion in 2013 and is growing approximately 10% to 15% per annum, as enterprises are looking to drive potential cost savings and support their increasingly complex telecoms estate.

Grinne MagFhloinn, VP Marketing at Soft-ex commented, "The new Optimiser release will provide businesses with the necessary information to improve control and introduce greater corporate policies and efficiencies across an enterprise's telecom activities. Key business decisions can then be implemented to optimise telecoms usage, infrastructure and improve operational performances. We have made significant improvements in Optimiser and new capabilities such as the dashboard add an advanced level of transparency, which will enable our clients to more tangibly control costs and facilitate business improvements." MagFhloinn continued, "Our extensive expertise and our selection as a preferred strategic partner and supplier by many of the major telcos and multinational corporations continues to confirm Soft-ex as a leading player in this market space."
