The renewal follows eHDF 's consistent performance in providing the DFM Web application disaster recovery platform with 99.98 per cent availability. Keeping web application live and investors connected to trading information is crucial to DFM 's operations, which eHDF continues to effectively facilitate. As part of the agreement that was initially signed in 2005, eHDF hosts the complete replication and backup for the DFM website, along with other managed services, to provide a backup in case of service interruption, high levels of demand or other occurrences that could risk the availability of the service. In addition, eHDF offers services such as regular reviews on critical aspects of technology and continuous monitoring and load balancing to ensure services are always available. Data is transferred to the servers at the eHDF data centres in real time using a multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) connection to update the servers, storage and applications.
