PCTEL Introduces Revolutionary Pay-Per-Use System for SeeGull® EXflex Scanning Receiver

BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. --(Business Wire)--

PCTEL (News - Alert), Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI), a leader in simplifying wireless and site solutions for private and public networks, launched the first-ever Pay-Per-Use program for wireless network drive test and walk test equipment. Exclusively available for PCTEL's SeeGull EXflex scanning receivers, the new metered licensing system will make it easier for PCTEL's customers to use cutting-edge network testing equipment while effectively managing their capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expense (OPEX (News - Alert)) budgets.

PCTEL's innovative Pay-Per-Use scheme makes high-quality network testing equipment more convenient and cost-effective. While network testing equipment can lead to more efficient networks and higher data throughput, resource and budget constraints can make it difficult to acquire the best equipment for every project. The SeeGull EXflex combines best-in-class performance and accuracy with the flexibility to adapt to almost any network testing project across the globe. The Pay-Per-Use model takes advantage of that flexibility and allows PCTEL's customers to acquire new scanning receivers for a nominal fee. Once they have a Pay-Per-Use scanning receiver, customers will pay only for the time they actually use.

"We believe the Pay-Per-Use model will revolutionize the scanning receiver industry," said David Neumann, General Manager of PCTEL RF Solutions. "The SeeGull EXflex will help carriers, network operators, and service providers effectively manage their budgets without compromising on quality, accuracy, and performance. Pay-Per-Use combines an on-demand scanner management system with deployed full featured scanning receivers to significantly reduce lead times for projects," added Neumann.

Pay-Per-Use SeeGull EXflex scanning receivers are available for deployment today. For further details about PCTEL's Pay-Per-Use model, visit rfsolutions.pctel.com/Pay-Per-Use or contact your regional sales representative.
