Murphy has been at the centre of the Consumer Electronics industry working with Sony Electronics, XM Satellite Radio and most recently, an emerging start-up Sureal SOS. While with XM Satellite Radio, Murphy held positions of varying responsibilities, most recently served as executive vice president.
