360Works Rolls Out Plastic 2Jun 20, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- 360Works, a FileMaker product developer, announced the release of Plastic 2. According to a release, the Plastic 2 plug-in for FileMaker allows users to process secure, SSL-encrypted credit card payments from FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Server, and FileMaker Web Publishing. 360Works said Plastic 2 can run charges and transactions with credit-card swipe readers, card-not-present accounts, direct check debiting, and much more. Plastic 2 also introduces security features, including tokenization, to protect customer data. Profile-based payments, also known as tokenization, save payment and customer information with the merchant provider. Using 360Works Plastic, the database only stores a customer token that will process payments, without having to re-key or swipe card data multiple times, making PCI compliance much simpler. Plastic 2 also can set up recurring billing to automatically charge customers on a schedule. Save the payment information straight to the gateway, not to the database, along with a specified time period and frequency. With Plastic 2, accept electronic checks or direct debits with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. Supported with six gateways, this payment method will process ACH payments, voids, or refunds to a bank account. Plastic 2 now supports 12 total gateways, giving users complete choice over which payment gateway to use. In addition to Authorize.Net and PayPal PayFlow Pro, Plastic 2 now supports: First Data, RealEx, Merchant eSolutions, Merchant Warrior, PayTrace, Moneris, USA ePay, InternetSecure, VirtualMerchant, and TransFirst.
