Mobibase and Rockville Technologies to Broadcast ICC Champions Trophy


Jun 19, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mobibase and Rockville Technologies announced the retransmission of the games for the first time of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

According to a release, these events will be made available on all mobile devices throughout the GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE).

The 2013 ICC Champions Trophy is an international cricket tournament. It is held this year in London, Birmingham and Cardiff. Eight countries are involved in the game: Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies. The competition will be streamed 24/7 from June 6th and will end on June 20th with the final battle between the 2 best teams.

In addition, the companies noted: Mobibase is in charge of the captation, the encoding and the streaming on all connected devices; feature phones, smart phones, tablet, web and when requested IPTV and Smart TV.

Rockville will insure the integration to the local carriers mobile services. DU in UAE and ZAIN in Saudi Arabia are the first operators to offer the Live games to their customers. Others will follow.
