Atmel is Among the Companies in the Semiconductors Industry With the Lowest Projected Earnings Growth (ATML, ADI, ISSI, HITT, SLAB)

Jun 18, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Semiconductors industry with the lowest projected earnings growth. The growth of earnings per share (current fiscal year estimated vs. last year actual) is important to gauge future profitability and relative value. Higher EPS growth generally justifies higher earnings multiples.Atmel ranks lowest with a projected earnings growth of 1.3%. Analog Devices is next with a projected earnings growth of 1.5%. Integrated Silicon Solution ranks third lowest with a projected earnings growth of 2.5%.

Hittite Microwave follows with a projected earnings growth of 4.4%, and Silicon Laboratories rounds out the bottom five with a projected earnings growth of 5.8%.

Since that call, shares of Hittite Microwave have fallen 12.9%. We are now looking for when a new Uptrend will commence and will alert SmarTrend subscribers in real time.
