[June 17, 2013] TeliaSonera names Johan Dennelind as president and CEO Tweet Jun 17, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- The board of directors of TeliaSonera (OSE:TEL) (STO:TLSN) (HEX:TLS1V) (LSE:TEE) (Nasdaq:TLSN), a provider of network access and telecommunication services, on Friday named Johan Dennelind as its president and chief executive officer (CEO) as of 1 September 2013 and he will be available for the company from 1 July 2013. Per-Arne Blomquist will remain as acting CEO until 1 September and then return to his role as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company. With wide experience, Dennelind has served in different roles within the telecommunication industry, most recently having served as CEO of Vodacom International based in South Africa. Furthermore, the company mentioned that the recruitment process has been the board's highest priority and was led by the Remuneration Committee consisting of chairman Marie Ehrling, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo and Mats Jansson.
