GIGABYTE introduces new motherboardsJun 17, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- GIGABYTE, a provider of computer hardware products, has introduced its 8 series motherboards, new G1-Killer gaming motherboards with AMP-UP audio technology and WINDFORCE 3X 2 SLOT 450W cooling system. The company also unveiled P35K, a 15.6" Ultrablade Gaming Laptop and U21M, a Convertible Laptop with 11.6" touchscreen. GIGABYTE's peripheral product Aivia Neon, which combines the functionality of a wireless mouse and a presenter, was also released. GIGABYTE's new 8 Series motherboards support 4th generation Intel Core processors and are based on Intel 8 Series chipsets. With over 30 models at launch, GIGABYTE 8 series motherboards push the envelope in terms of features including Ultra Durable 5 Plus, a redesigned UEFI BIOS interface, GIGABYTE App Center with revamped EasyTune hardware tweaking software. GIGABYTE also introduced 2 new G1-Killer gaming motherboards, the G1.Sniper 5 and G1.Sniper M5, featuring GIGABYTE AMP-UP Audio and 2 new overclocking motherboards the Z87X-OC and Z87X-OC Force, the company said. GIGABYTE also unveiled its new Mini-ITX F2A85XN-WiFi motherboard, supporting FM2 AMD A-Series/Athlon-Series APUs, including the recently launched A-Series Richland APUs. With onboard Dual-Band WiFi/ Bluetooth 4.0 module, it is able to support AMD Wireless Display (AWD), allowing for wireless connectivity to wall mounted HDTVs. GIGABYTE also introduced the WINDFORCE 3X 2 SLOT 450W Cooling System. The new WINDFORCE fan is equipped with metal cover and Dark Blue PCB. It is adapted with GIGABYTE patented Triangle Cool technology and features six pure copper heat pipes. According to the company, the latest WINDFORCE guarantees the capability of heat dissipation up to 450 watt. The cooling performance is 21% better than stock fan. WINDFORCE 3X 450W cooling system not only provides an effective heat dissipation capacity, but also gains a higher performance with lower GPU temperature through the GPU Boost 2.0 technology. GIGABYTE announced a full range of mobile devices including Ultrablade Gaming Laptops, UltrabookTM, Convertible Laptops and Detachable Tablet PadbookTM. The 15.6 inches P35K Ultrablade Gaming Laptop with the new 4th generation Intel Core i7 Processor is designed for mobility. 21mm thin and weighing approx. 2.2kgs, packed with a GTX 765M gaming graphics card, P35K is geared for gamers and 3D designers alike. U21M - at 20mm thin, weighing 1.49kgs and a 180 degrees swivel 11.6 inches touchscreen, fitting a high-speed 256GB mSATA SSD and a 1TB 2.5 inches HDD into its body, the U21M is calibrated to perform better, the company added. GIGABYTE released the new BRIX ultra compact PC kit that combines a small form factor chassis design with a choice of high-performance Intel Core processors. BRIX is ideal for compact HTPC builds, as a standard desktop in the home or office, or in commercial applications such as digital signage. GIGABYTE also showed GB-AF21TS, its new 21.5 inches All-in-One PC based on Thin Mini-ITX. GIGABYTE unveiled Aivia Neon Touch-charge Air Presenter Mouse, Aivia Uranium Wireless Gaming Mouse with GHOST Macro Station, FLY Lightweight On-Ear Headset, S3000 USB 3.0 Extraordinary Power Speakers and Diamond series Power Banks. Aivia Neon provides a quick way for recharging - attach to the USB nano-receiver. GHOST Macro Station supports dynamic status display and gamers can re-assign macro hotkeys in-gaming without jumping out of the game. SUMO OMEGA comes with hidden dust filters on the side and front panel to ensure no dust entering the gaming chassis, protecting gamers components from premature wear and tear. The 20cm side panel fan and five 12cm fans strategically placed in the interior of the case provide crucial air ventilation to keep the chassis nice and cool during even intense gaming moments. GIGABYTE also introduced Sumo Platinum 1000W/650W/450W which are certified respectively as 80 Plus Platinum, the company reported. GIGABYTE has also unveiled its new server products, which includes single socket Server & Workstation Motherboards based on future Intel Xeon Processor E3-1200 V3 product family, dual socket motherboards based on the Intel Xeon processor E5-2600, and GS-A22C0 as a Hardware Rampart for Critical Network Applications. GIGABYTE also introduced its new GC-MLBZB 10GbE add-on card which is designed according to the Open Compute Project guidance.
