NTT to buy U.S. computer security firm Solutionary(Japan Economic Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TOKYO, June 17 -- (Kyodo) _ Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. said Monday it will acquire U.S. computer security company Solutionary Inc. as the Japanese telecom giant aims to expand its sales in North America. NTT did not disclose the acquisition price, but people familiar with the matter said it is estimated at about 20 billion yen. Established in 2000, the Nebraska-based company offers services to protect companies' computer systems from unauthorized access and other consulting services, and currently has more than 600 corporate clients in the United States.
