Nectar Services releases CMP 5.0

Jun 17, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Nectar Services Corp., which is engaged in the development of converged network monitoring and management software, has announced the release of its converged management platform, or Nectar CMP, 5.0.

Nectar CMP 5.0 adds Microsoft Lync and Cisco's UCM solutions to its Avaya and Nortel monitoring and management solutions portfolio. Nectar CMP 5.0 achieves vendor agnostic end-to-end monitoring and management capabilities across a spectrum of communication platforms, the company said.

"We have set the bar extremely high with our award winning Converged Monitoring Platform software for the Avaya and Nortel portfolio, anything less in what we deliver to our Channel Partners and customers is simply unacceptable. Nectar CMP 5.0 had to go way beyond just checking off the basic capability "tic box", which has become common place in today's market," said David Giangano, CEO, Nectar.

"Today's addition of Microsoft Lync and Cisco UCM monitoring capabilities stays true to our roots in delivering very powerful and innovative solutions, which analyze, inform and enable are service providers and customers to easily manage very complex converged network environments. Nectar CMP 5.0 will truly deliver the most sophisticated, real-time converged network monitoring and management solution for today's multivendor communication environments." CMP 5.0 was developed to hear and pinpoint the inconsistencies of Voice over IP (VoIP) across distributed and integrated solutions of Avaya, Cisco, Lync, and Nortel. CMP 5.0 comes with a new improved GUI experience and enhanced Session Border Controller monitoring, SIP intelligence and expanded automation of asset discovery and system interdependency mapping, the company concluded.
