Comverse ONE wins contract for licenses and services from CSPJun 14, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Comverse, a provider of telecom business enablement solutions, has announced that its BSS solution, Comverse ONE, has won a long-term contract for licenses and services from a Caribbean/Latin American communication service provider, or CSP. According to the company, the transition from the Comverse Kenan BSS solution to the Comverse ONE Converged BSS solution, backed by Comverse Professional Services, will create a converged environment providing service continuity across all aspects of the CSP's multi-play business: wireless, wireline, Internet and cable. The conversion of cable television services to the Comverse ONE platform will reportedly allow the decommission a legacy solution, completing the migration of all of the CSP's consumer services to a single converged platform that can provide cost savings. "Comverse ONE Converged BSS was selected because it is field-proven across so many different communication and content product sets," said Raman Abrol, Managing Director, Caribbean and Latin America at Comverse. "With 18 installations going live globally in the last year alone, Comverse has emerged as a leading BSS vendor in the Caribbean and Latin America- in the forefront of pre-integrated customer-centric care, billing and convergent charging for service providers around the world with convergent offerings." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
