Jun 12, 2013 (Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- ITALIAN KITCHEN HAS PIZZA AND MORE: DiMaria's Pizza & Italian Kitchen has opened at 1183 Erbs Quarry Road, Lititz.

The restaurant, just off Fruitville Pike in the Village Shops at Brighton, is the second location for DiMaria's, which also has a restaurant in Mount Joy at 759 E. Main St.

The new restaurant is owned by Vincenzo DiMaria and his cousin, Antonio Altadonna.

The menu features appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches as well as pizza, pasta dishes and desserts. Specialties include a number of tomato pies made with chunky tomato sauce as well as Grandma Pizza: a thin square pizza made with chunk tomatoes, mozzarella, basil pesto, garlic & olive oil.

The restaurant has seating for about 40 at tables and booths. It has about 10 employees.

Before moving to Lancaster, DiMaria owned and operated restaurants in Philadelphia.


Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. 208-6028, www.dimariaspizza.com.

COMING TO PARK CITY: Several new stores will be opening at Park City Center in the coming months, including Soma Intimates, Journey's Kidz and Vera Bradley.

Soma Intimates, which sells women's lingerie, sleepwear and beauty products, is slated to open later this summer in the Bon-Ton Wing, taking a 2,520-square foot space formerly occupied by 5-7-9. This will be Soma's first location in Lancaster County.

Journey's, a shoe store, is slated to move across the Boscov's Wing from its current 1,264-square-foot space to a spot that measures 2,039 square feet. Once it moves, Journey's Kidz will open in the vacated space.

Vera Bradley, which features a variety of handbags, is slated to open in early fall in Center Court at the top of the Bon-Ton Wing. This 2,100-square-foot store will be the first Vera Bradley location in Lancaster County.

BELLA WHIT BOUTIQUE: Bella Whit Boutique has opened at 146 E. King St.

Owner Melisa DeHaven says the 1,000-square-foot shop at the East King Street Garage specializes in "unique, one-of-a-kind" items from independent designers specializing in clothing, jewelry and home decor. It carries vintage, new and current items with many eco-friendly options.

DeHaven formerly operated Bella Whit in Willow Valley Square, near Darrenkamp's Market. At her new shop, she has two employees.

CELLULAR CONNECTION: Cellular Connection has moved from 1380 Columbia Ave. to 2000 Columbia Ave. The 1,250-square-foot store offers wireless phones, accessories and services from Verizon Wireless.

In addition, the store is a DISH Network dealer. The store has four employees.

This is the fifth store in Lancaster for Cellular Connection, which has roughly 900 U.S. locations, including 90 in Pennsylvania.
