[June 10, 2013] Lantiq Demonstrates at Computex Show Tweet Jun 10, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Lantiq, a supplier of broadband access and home networking technologies, showed its DSLTE technology demo during the recent Computex show in Taiwan. According to a release, the demonstration was based on a Lantiq reference design that combines a bonded VDSL broadband access link with an additional LTE access link in a single residential Gateway. The company said the advanced technology setup enables equipment manufacturers to provide service carriers with systems offering highest bundled data rates and flawless Quality-of-Service that leverage their existing DSL and LTE networks. Benefits, as described by the company: -The reference design is based on Lantiq's AnyWan XWAY GRX Network Processor family, which includes Lantiq's latest technology for bonded VDSL and Vectoring -The pre-integrated LTE Module combined with the Lantiq platform enables throughput of up to 300 Mbps with minimum CPU load -Efficient usage of the aggregated 300 Mbps speeds is controlled by a software based traffic management suite running on the Lantiq GRX network processor Lantiq DSLTE is available on Reference Designs now.
