TIMKEN ACQUIRES U.K.-BASED INTERLUBE SYSTEMS LTD.

The Timken Co. in Canton, Ohio, has acquired Plymouth, U.K.-based lnterlube Systems Ltd., which makes and markets automated lubrication delivery systems and related components to end-market sectors, including commercial vehicles, construction, mining and heavy and general industries.

With 2012 sales of approximately $13 million and 90 employees, lnterlube has an operation in Dayton, Ohio, and a joint venture in Zhuhai, China. Timken's purchase also includes Cheltenham, U.K.-based MSP Distributors Ltd., which was acquired by lnterlube in 2007 and designs, installs and repairs lubrication systems.

"The management team brings a wealth of experience and established customer relationships, and their automated lubrication delivery systems certainly complement the Timken portfolio of power transmission products." ALBEMARLE EXPANDS RELATIONSHIP WITH ARCHWAY SALES Albemarle Corp. in Baton Rouge, La., has expanded its distributor territory with St. Louis, Mo. -based Archway Sales, Inc., in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Archway Sales represents Albemarle's Ethacure® curatives, secondary aromatic amines and aliphatic diamines, along with FirstCure® UV additives DMPT and MHPT.

PROMOTIONS & TRANSITIONS TRICO APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT Pewaukee, Wis.-based Trico Corp., a leader in total lubrication management services and products, has promoted Jim Jung as vice president.

Prior to his appointment, Jim served as Trieos director of operations, a position in which he was responsible for the oversight of the company's manufacturing operations. He worked toward reducing waste and streamlining operations. He also extended the process to the office environment. In addition, he recently headed a complete restructuring of the organization, making it more customer-focus.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and received his bachelors degree in production and operations management.

HYDROTEX HIRES PRODUCT LINE MANAGER Dallas-based Hydrotex, a manufacturer and distributor of high-performance lubricant and fuel improver solutions, announces the hiring of Christopher Deal as the company's product line manager.

Prior to joining Hydrotex, Chris held the position of providing strategic and marketing consulting services for clients such as Verizon Wireless, Chase Bank and National Motor Club. He has over 20 years of product marketing and development experience in the telecom, semiconductor manufacturing, wireless, healthcare and consulting industries.

Chris has BBA and MBA degrees from Texas State University. He's also involved with the American Marketing Association and serves as director of a special interest group.

PETROLEUM CHEMICALS ADDS PAVLICA AND TROTTER TO BOARD Sacramento, Calif. -based Petroleum Chemicals announces STLEmembers Sally Pavlica and Mark Trotter have been elected to the company's board of directors, as well as promoted to vice president of sales and vice president of operations, respectively.

"Tapping the experience of these industry veterans for leadership positions will accelerate our growth," says Bob Scheetz, president of Petroleum Chemicals. "Their knowledge base will enable Petroleum Chemicals to meet the current and future needs of independent lubricant manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket." Her 32-year career in the lubricant additives and specialty chemicals industries includes positions in sales, research, marketing and product management.

Marks responsibilities as vice president of operations include manufacturing, purchasing and logistics. He has more than 20 years of experience in the lubricant additives and biodiesel industries, serving in roles that addressed new component development and commercialization, rationalization of global components manufacturing, contract manufacturing, new business startups, consulting and alternative energy projects.

DES-CASE WELCOMES NEW STAFFERS Goodlettsville, Tenn. -based Des-Case Corp., a global leader in industrial lubrication and contamination control, announces the hiring of Jim Frisbie and Eddy Bock as associate technical consultant and director of international development, respectively.

Previously, Jim was operations manager with CCECO Lab & Filtration, serving as a specialist in oil analysis and contamination control solutions. He worked at the company for eight years, while for the last three years he helped coordinate multiple R&D efforts with OEMs and end-users, primarily focused on hydraulic and diesel engine applications. He holds ICML MLTl certification and Machinery Failure Analysis certification through Pape Machinery.

Eddy, a 20-year veteran of the automotive industry, previously worked for Contech Castings for six years as senior sales account manager in charge of marketing the company's products to Japanese, German and American OEMs and Tier I customers. Before that, he rose through the ranks of Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems over 13 years to become manager of sales and customer support.

Eddy also spent three years in Japan as a marketing director and English language instructor for the California Language Institute and has worked for United Parcel Service in sales and customer service.
