[May 24, 2013] BRIEF: Series of telecasts show Lynchburg appearances of Republican candidates Tweet May 24, 2013 (The News & Advance - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Broadcast journalist Andre Whitehead planned a series of telecasts from the Lynchburg appearances of the Republican candidates Ken Cuccinelli, E.W. Jackson and Mark Obenshain during his Sunday morning programs titled Conversations with Andre Whitehead. The full statements given by each candidate during their May 21 appearance at the Lynchburg airport will be broadcast at 9 a.m. Sundays on cable channel CW5 in the Lynchburg-Roanoke-Danville market and on Dish, Cox, DirecTV, Comcast and Shentel cable outlets. Obenshain, the GOP candidate for attorney general, will be featured in the May 26 broadcast. Jackson, who is running for lieutenant governor, will appear June 2. Cuccinelli, the gubernatorial candidate, will conclude the series June 9, Whitehead said.
