[May 24, 2013] BRIEF: United Way seeks project partners in Stanislaus County Tweet May 24, 2013 (The Modesto Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- STANISLAUS COUNTY -- The United Way of Stanislaus County is inviting qualified nonprofits to apply for its education initiative contract, which will focus on a seventh-grade student engagement program. The project is July 1 to June 30, 2014. (Renewal is contingent upon a successful review.) Nonprofits interested in applying for the contract need to complete a "request for information," which will be posted starting Sunday on the United Way's website, www.uwaystan.org. Responses to the RFI are due by June 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the United Way office.
