[May 24, 2013] AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry Selects Arkieva S&OP Tweet May 24, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Arkieva, a designer and supplier of the Arkieva suite of planning and scheduling software products, announced that AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry has selected the Arkieva S&OP and Inventory Analyzer for its supply chain operations. According to a release, AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry is a producer of cationic, nonionic, anionic and amphoteric surfactants. "We selected the Arkieva S&OP solution because of our prior experience with the product's reliable forecasting and planning characteristics and the ease with which it integrates with our SAP ERP system," said Jo Sheppard, BU Director Supply Chain and Sustainability at AkzoNobel. "The inventory analyzer will help us better control the millions of dollars' worth of inventory we deal with on a monthly basis."
