Stillwater Medical Center Selects Accent on Integration

May 24, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Stillwater Medical Center has broadened its partnership with Accent on Integration, a provider of integration software and medical device connectivity solutions, and integrated its Philips IntelliVue Patient Monitors with its Meditech Emergency Department Management solution.

"This ED interface takes us one step closer to having our entire organization's vital signs monitors connected to departmental systems and to the HIS. Our hospital has always stood behind technology as a means to make care more efficient and ultimately better for our patients. By enabling data sharing between disparate technologies, we are truly enhancing the quality of care we provide," said Chris Roark, CIO of Stillwater Medical Center, in a release. "We are glad to have AOI as our integration partner and expand our relationship. AOI has a proven track record of helping us achieve our integration goals in several areas of the hospital, and we are excited to carry forward these integration successes and care enhancements in our ED." "Stillwater Medical Center is a great example of a facility committed to leveraging the power of integration to enable the free flow of data, enhance patient care and safety, and improve overall processes," said Marc Andiel, co-founder and CEO of AOI. "It has been very rewarding to work with Stillwater Medical Center on its numerous integration projects. The hospital continues to raise the bar as it increases its data-sharing capabilities and ensures clinicians across the hospital have access to critical patient data at all times." AOI will participate at 2013 International MUSE Conference May 28-31.
