According to a release, at the SLA PHTD meeting Pi2 announced a significant expansion to the portfolio. Their central mission remains the same, around introducing ever more efficient ways to help biopharmaceutical groups manage bibliographic literature. New developments include the Pi2 Pinnacle, the Pi2 Triager Series and the latest version of its Pinpoint product literature database system. The Pi2 website and corporate has also benefitted from a makeover, more in keeping with the organisation that Pi2 has become over ten years. The company said the Pharmaceutical and Health Technology Division (PHTD) of the SLA provides the ideal audience to showcase new Pi2 developments, according to co-founder Mark Drinkwater. "The audience is focussed, informal and this knowledgeable group is largely responsible for managing, in their organisations, the types of services which Pi2 provides. The conference and exhibition is always fresh and illuminating and we wanted to support the good work of this SLA division with our platinum sponsorship of the event.
