Federal Reserve Bank of New York appoints new EVPMay 23, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has appointed Michael Strine as the new executive vice president, or EVP, and head of the Bank's corporate group. As head of the Corporate Group, Mr Strine will oversee the financial management, business continuity, investment review, and real estate and general support functions of the Bank. He also will serve as the New York Fed's principal financial officer. William Dudley, president and CEO of the New York Fed, said: "I look forward to working with Michael. I expect his financial and operational acumen will prove of great benefit to the New York Fed and its stewardship of the public interest." Most recently, Mr Strine served as executive vice president and COO at the University of Virginia.
