Red Bend Software to Present "FOTA Best Practices for the Automotive Industry" at Automotive Linux Summit Spring

Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM) with more than 1.75 billion Red Bend-Enabled™ devices, announced that it will present "FOTA Best Practices for the Automotive Industry" at The Automotive Linux Summit Spring. Red Bend will present at 4 p.m. (JST) on Tuesday, May 28 at the Chinzan-so Conference Center in Tokyo. The presentation also will feature a live end-to-end remote software upgrade demonstration.

In this presentation, Yoram Berholtz, Red Bend's Director of Market Adoption, will discuss five steps for successful Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) implementation, based on Red Bend's experience providing FOTA solutions to nearly 1,500 different device models, including cars, trucks and heavy machinery. FOTA is proven to be the most cost-effective, reliable and secure method for updating in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems and automotive electronic control units (ECUs).
