RGB Systems Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 22 -- RGB Systems, Anaheim, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,447,893) developed by Brian E. Tauscher, Apex, N.C., and Michael Izquierdo, Cary, N.C., for a "USB peripheral device comprising limited function USB host controller." The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: "A USB peripheral device comprising a limited function Universal Serial Bus (USB) host controller configured to control HID compliant USB peripheral devices on a downstream facing USB port is disclosed.
