Logitech launches the Plug-and-Play Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad aimed at classroom use

May 22, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Logitech (Swiss:LOGN.VX) (Nasdaq:LOGI), a provider of digital connecting products, today introduced the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad, the first iPad keyboard made specially for the classroom environment.

The company said that the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad has been designed for hassle-free plug-and-play connectivity, with an integrated Lightning Connector or 30-pin Connector, depending on which model iPad is being used.

According to the company, the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad was developed to overcome the challenge faced by when a teacher needs to simultaneously pair multiple iPads with multiple wireless Bluetooth keyboards. Now, with this new keyboard, students can now simply plug it in and start typing.

Logitech said that its new Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad with the Lightning Connector is expected to be available in the US in August 2013 for USD59.99. Also, the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad with the 30-pin Connector is expected to be available in the US in October 2013 for USD59.99.
