Moshcam Unveils New Android App Making All Content FreeMay 22, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Moshcam, creators of an online catalogue of originally-produced live music videos, announced the launch of its new Android app. According to a release, the new app is free to download and works across all Android devices. In addition, Moshcam's recently launched global channel partnership with YouTube, an online video community, enables all channel content to be streamed via the app, allowing all content on the Android and its existing iOS app to be completely free. The new apps boast more than 5,000 free live music videos, with 5,000 more being added soon, including performances by international artists such as PJ Harvey, Blondie, Bloc Party, Bullet For My Valentine, Sia, Slash, Alice Cooper, Hot Chip, Alabama Shakes and Alexisonfire. Powered by YouTube, the app provides a platform for Moshcam to broadcast to a live music fan-base. "We have an enormous catalogue of content available on YouTube, with every gig broken down by track into both full concerts and curated playlists. The challenge was to make all that great footage easily available to live music fans on mobile," said Paul Hannigan, Chief of Product, Moshcam. "With this app we are leveraging the power of the world's largest video platform, while providing the most friendly user experience for fans of our channel." Moshcam's YouTube channel is updated with fresh, original content daily, including artist interviews and sessions, with new full-length gigs uploaded every week. This content is now available in its entirety through the Moshcam apps. Moshcam's Android app is available through Google Play and the iOS app is available through iTunes.
