[May 21, 2013] Smith Micro Software Q1 net loss decreases Tweet May 21, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Smith Micro Software, Inc., a provider of wireless and mobility solutions, has reported that net loss for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 was $6.16 million, or $0.17 loss per share, compared to a net loss of $9.68 million, or $0.27 loss per share, for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012. Revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 were $11.6 million, compared to $10.11 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012. Gross profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 was $9.16 million, compared to $7.92 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012. Operating loss for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 was $6.1 million, compared to an operating loss of $9.6 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012. Total assets as of March 31, 2013 were $50.11 million, compared to $54.39 million, as of December 31, 2012.
