Jive Introduces Referral ProgramMay 21, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Jive Software, Inc., announced the launch of the Jive Referral Program for Microsoft SharePoint partners, an initiative available free of charge to tens of thousands of SharePoint solution providers. In a release, the company noted that the program allows solution providers to connect Jive with SharePoint, amplifying the value of existing customer SharePoint deployments and unlocking enterprise data and workflows through Jive, a collaboration technology. The program will aid existing providers in attracting more customers even as Microsoft transitions from SharePoint to SharePoint Online and Office 360. The Jive Referral Program is launching along with the availability of Jive for Microsoft SharePoint, Jive for Microsoft Exchange and new versions of Jive for Outlook and Jive for Office. With these new features, any Microsoft user or developer can access these business apps seamlessly within Jive in an integrated experience. This new experience is delivered through Jive's own technology and through the recent acquisition of StreamOnce. SharePoint partners can sign up for free at http://info.jivesoftware.com/jive-referral-partnerprogram.html. In addition, all partners in the program will be offered up to 50 Jive cloud instances for no charge. "As Microsoft embarks on an aggressive transition from SharePoint to SharePoint Online and Yammer, business partners are expressing concerns about their ability to support customers and continue to grow their companies," said John F. Rizzo, chief marketing officer at Jive. "Through the Jive Referral Program, those partners now can use Jive and supercharge existing customer investments in SharePoint, and at the same time, provide business opportunities to move SharePoint deployments into the next generation." Jive for Microsoft SharePoint automatically integrates Jive and SharePoint, providing people with a seamless and unified experience when accessing documents, searching for results, updating activity streams and storing documents. In addition, bi-directional content push allows people using Jive to push content into SharePoint workflows and to push SharePoint content out into public Jive communities. At the same time, corporate governance capabilities give IT and SharePoint administrators a semantically rich business rule language to help them define what, how, and when SharePoint content gets socialized to protect privacy while enabling socialization at a very granular level. Jive Software (JIVE) is a company focused on social business. More Information: http://www.jivesoftware.com ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected])) |
