Brad Nano-Change Connectors from Molex Meet M8 Form Factor Standards

May 21, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Molex Inc. supports challenging industrial automation, aerospace and defense network connectivity with its compact Brad Nano-Change (M8) connectors.

According to a release, the Nano-Change product line offers a broad selection of space-saving connectors, cordsets, receptacles, inserts, splitters and molded junction boxes for sensor and actuator applications.

"Secure network connectivity in harsh environments demands sealed connectors and cable assemblies that are up to the task," states Jimmy Adjunta, product manager, Molex. "Designed for device manufacturers and end-users who need superior reliability, Brad Nano-Change connectors deliver total interoperability and rock-solid performance." The company noted that Nano-Change connectors, complementing Molex Micro-Change connectors for M12 interfaces such as I/O junction blocks, conform to the smaller M8 form factor standards. Sealed Nano-Change connectors are available in IP67 threaded or IP65 push-on versions.

Molex offers a range of standard length cable assemblies. A variety of Nano-Change distribution boxes includes the flexibility of 4, 6, 8 or 10 port versions, single and dual I/O, and vertical or horizontal mounting. An anti-vibration feature prevents loss of connection even in high vibration applications.

Molex is ITAR compliant and registered with the U.S. Department of State.

Molex provides complete interconnect solutions for markets including: data communications, telecommunications, consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, commercial vehicle, aerospace and defense, medical, and lighting.
