Among the early adopters of SDN in Australia is the University of Technology, Sydney. Its technical services manager IT infrastructure and operations, Peter Gale, says SDN is a good fit for its data centre due to the facility being close to four fifths virtualised. The SDN supplier is Alcatel-Lucent.
