[May 20, 2013] BRIEF: New OC members introduced May 28 Tweet May 20, 2013 (Odessa American - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Pending the swearing-in of its new board members next week, Odessa College's board determined Monday that the new Place 9 trustee is Tommy Clark during an official canvass of the results. It was the only contested election on May 11, though two others will join the board after winning uncontested seats. Royce Bodiford will serve as the Place 3 representative, replacing Ralph McCain a trustee for 18 years, and Neil Grape will represent Place 6, taking over for Walter Smith, a trustee for three six-year terms. Clark, 50, beat out Ed Rowland, 64, for Place 9 after it was vacated by Mayor David Turner who was elected to his position in November. The next OC board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. May 28 in the Joe Zant Jr. Community Room on the second floor in the Student Union Building.
