[May 20, 2013] BRIEF: State Highway 158 bridge at 385 opens Tweet May 20, 2013 (Odessa American - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The State Highway 158 bridge at U.S. Highway 385 in northern Ector County opened for business on Saturday, according to a release from the Texas Department of Transportation. "There is still some work to be done this week underneath, but we wanted to get the bridge open as soon as possible," said Gene Powell, public information officer for the Odessa District Office for TxDOT. SCR Construction of Richmond, Texas, won the right to make repairs with a bid of $324,390.
