[May 19, 2013] Singapore, San Francisco play Host to agency's overseas expansion push Tweet May 19, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Host and STW Group are exceptions to the rule among Australian advertising agencies in that they are expanding overseas. STW has launched its Edge Asia digital network in the region, while Host is setting up operations in Singapore and San Francisco, with Shanghai possibly to follow later. Anthony Freedman, CEO of the Havas-owned Host, says the move into China is still too complex for the business. Singapore on the other hand already has a sizeable collection of overseas agencies and staff. In San Francisco, Host complements the US east coast focus of Havas.
