Dubai's Damas unveils Dhs45,000 iPhone [Seven Days (United Arab Emirates)](Seven Days (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A UAE jewellery retailer is to sell a lavishly adorned iPhone featuring alligator skin, diamonds and gold trimmings - for the princely sum of Dhs45,000. Damas Jewellery has entered into a partnership with Givori - an Italian firm which bills itself as a “luxury smartphone accessoriser” - to sell its products across the Gulf. And the first product to be offered to deep-pocketed UAE consumers is a 64GB iPhone from Givori’s Charlotte collection - limited to 50 pieces worldwide. The creator of the plush upgrade say it features 19-karat rose gold, a coral pink alligator skin pouch, studded with diamonds, and a bee-shaped navigation button that is made from pink gemstones. “The Charlotte Collection is inspired by the English rose in springtime and is designed for women who exude charm, beauty and elegance,”? said Givori general manager Stephanie Holden. “It is our most opulent and sensual product yet, evoking feelings of love and ethereal refinement.” She added: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Damas, which is an explicit recognition that Givori products are not just luxury smartphones - they are unique pieces of jewellery in their own right.” “Givori’s beautiful products are perfect for Damas,” said Josh Morar, brand director, at Damas, which will initially stock Givori at its branches in the Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai Mall and Wafi. The aim is then to extend the partnership to reach phone fans across other Gulf nations. (c) 2013 Al Sidra Media LLC Provided by Syndigate.info an Albawaba.com company |
