Autodesk and Badgeville Receive CRM Excellence Award [Manufacturing Close - Up]

(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Badgeville announced that their customer Autodesk, Inc., earned top recognition in the Gartner CRM Excellence Awards for their Badgeville-powered integrated marketing campaign.

Autodesk, a company focusing on 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, won the Gartner award for increasing software trial usage by 40 percent with gamification techniques built on Badgeville's Behavior Platform.

According to a release, due to the power and sophistication of Autodesk's software, a user license can be a significant investment for a professional user. This makes software trials a critical component of a customer's purchasing decision. In fact, company data showed that prospects were twice as likely to purchase Autodesk products if they had used the software at least three times during a 30-day trial period.

"Badgeville has enabled us to exceed our goals in trial downloads for our initial campaign," said Dawn Wolfe, Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, Autodesk. "The Behavior Platform's flexibility has also enabled us to expand our gamification program and test new ways to successfully engage our customers across our flagship products such as AutoCAD." Through this joint awards program, 1to1 Media and Gartner spotlight excellence among organizations that take a customer- centric approach to improving their business performance and have seen exceptional results from doing so.
