McKinley crowned Maxwell rodeo queenMay 17, 2013 (Colusa County Sun-Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Junior Kaily McKinley is this year's Maxwell High Rodeo queen. She is the daughter of Cristy Edwards and Jeff McKinley. She is involved in FFA, volleyball, and basketball and her interests include playing sports, riding horses, drawing and having a good time with friends. "Rodeo is a great time for the community to get together and the high school to get involved," McKinley said. The other royalty members are: --Daniel Manson, a senior, is the Rodeo chairman. He is the son of Dennis and Donna Wilson. He is involved in FFA and football and his interests include hanging out with friends, fishing, football, and working. He said the rodeo "is a good way for families to get together." --Austin Traynham, a junior, is co-chairman of the Rodeo. He is the son of Jim and Jamie Traynham. He is involved in FFA and football and his interests include hunting and sports. She is the daughter of Pat and Monica Ryan. She is involved in FFA, ASB, cheerleading, volleyball, and FBLA and her interests include showing cattle, riding horses, and hanging out with friends. "Rodeo is tradition. This tradition always brings the community together to help. Rodeo is a great time to hang out with friends and family, and to take on a little friendly competition," Westfall said. --Kendall Immoos, a senior, is a rodeo princess. She is the daughter of Doug Immoos and Pam Decker. She is involved in FFA, rodeo set up and clean up, and taking a steer to fair. Her interests include hanging out with her friends and family, riding horses and fishing every chance she gets.
