"The bill provides for further ICT market opening and encourages the emergence of operators and content suppliers," Benhamadi said in an interview with APS, adding that to date there were only internet access providers. In this regard, the minister underlined the willingness of public authorities to giver a "greater dimension" to ICT markets by encouraging operators that can add value. Three mobile phone operators, whose activity is limited to telephony, have to diversify their services ahead of the launch of 3G, he said.
